Continuing the Seiko heritage of innovation and design evolution, Prospex introduce the new diver’s watch SRPL11K1, evolved from a combination of two popular Seiko designs. Nicknamed by fans for their unique case shapes, the ‘Samurai’ and ‘Shogun’ designs are popular Seiko models which are angular in shape and instantly recognisable. The new ‘Samurai-Shogun’ inspired 4R Diver hybrid takes elements from both heritage designs, as well as adding modernised features.

Aesthetically, the new SRPL11 takes the steep angled lugs of the Shogun, razor-sharp as if modelled by a Samurai sword, and echoes the crown design of the Samurai model with the straight contours of both blueprints.

Compliant with the recognised ISO standard for professional diving watches, the SRPL11K features the Hacking 4R35 movement, additional features include a daily tolerance of +45 / -35 seconds at normal temperature with an approximate 41 hour Power Reserve and is both manual and self winding. The SRPL11K is a 200m dive watch with a case diameter of 41.7mm with a thickness of 12.3mm and a lug-to-lug measurement of 49mm with a lug width of 20mm and an approximate weight of 170gm, a screw lock crown, screw case back and a uni-directional rotating bezel.

The full stainless steel SRPL11K has Lumibrite treatment on the hands and markers as well as the bezel. The bracelet is finished with a three-fold clasp with secure lock, push button release with extender. The magnetic resistance rating of the SRPL11K is 4800 A/m.
