How and when are the orders shipped?

All Selected Jewellery & Watches orders are shipped with Australia Post. For Standard Shipping, please allow up to 2 days for us to confirm and fulfil your order and an additional 5-7 business days for your order to be shipped. For Express Shipping,  please allow up to 2 days for us to confirm and fulfil your order and 1-3 business days for your order to be shipped.

Customers who opt not to select the insured shipping option acknowledge and accept the risk of any potential loss, damage or theft of the parcel. Selected Jewellery & Watches will not be liable for any issues during transit.

 

Can you guarantee delivery dates?

No. All delivery date guides by Australia Post & DHL Express are approximate only. While both Australia Post and DHL Express are very reliable, there are some inevitable delays. We suggest you allow a few extra days to be on the very safe side. Deliveries are sometimes delayed during peak shipping season so please allow extra days for shipping during these times.


Do I need to sign for my order?

Yes. A signature will be required on delivery. Couriers normally deliver parcels to the person available at the address. Such a delivery will constitute a legitimate delivery. To avoid any delays, we suggest you have your parcels shipped to your work address if you know you are not going to be home. Australia Post & DHL have their own policies regarding contactless deliveries and in case of any changes to their policies, Selected Jewellery & Watches will refer back to their policies. Risk and title of the goods pass to the recipient upon delivery of the goods to the nominated delivery address.


What happens if delivery is attempted and no one is home to sign for it?

If no one is available to sign for a parcel when the courier comes to deliver the parcel, the courier will leave an ‘Attempted Delivery’ card. The card will be marked with a tracking number and will also state the post office where the parcel is being held on your behalf. To pick up the parcel, please turn up with a photo ID and the parcel will be released to you.


Will I be notified when my order is shipped?

Yes. On shipment, you will receive an e-mail from Selected Jewellery with the tracking details including the parcel consignment number. We are unable to give order status on an individual order until a minimum of 3 business days have passed from the date of order.

What are your shipping charges?

Standard Shipping within Australia is Free.

Express shipping costs $15 AUD. 

Express Shipping with Insurance costs $65 AUD and ensures that your products are protected against damage, loss, or theft during transit. Please note that the maximum cover amount for insurance is $2,500 AUD.

If your order exceeds the value of $2,500 and you wish to fully insure your item for postage, please email contact@selectedjewellery.com.au

 

What is Click + Collect?

Selected Jewellery offer a Click + Collect service as a shipping option. Click + Collect are free shipping orders that must be picked up by customers from our Miranda store. An email with all the details will be sent as soon as the order is ready to be picked up. In case you would like to nominate someone else to pick the order up, on your behalf, please send us an email with the name of the person. We will view their ID and then release the parcel.

Click + Collect orders can be picked up on any weekday (Monday to Friday) and Saturday. Click & Collect hours are:

  • 10am - 5:30pm Monday
  • 10am - 5:30pm Tuesday
  • 10am - 5:30pm Wednesday
  • 10am - 8:30pm Thursday
  • 10am - 5:30pm Friday
  • 10am - 5:30pm Saturday
  • 10am - 5:30pm Sunday

What is the pick up address for Click + Collect orders?

The pick up address for all Click + Collect orders is our Miranda Store located in Westfield Miranda (Next to level 1 David Jones).
