ARITA PORCELAIN RANGE: Is named after the town where the porcelain has been made for the last four hundred years. Arita porcelain is still highly prised and many of the porcelain makers are thriving in a town of just 20,000 people. The new dials in the PRESAGE range are made by an experienced porcelain maker in Arita that has been making porcelain since 1830. 

This Arita porcelain dial is created through handwork and firing at a high temperature. As a result, it may have little dimples, tiny dots, and an uneven color. These are unique features of genuine Arita porcelain dials, of which no two are exactly alike.

This limited edition watch features a white, unglazed porcelain dial. Typically the porcelain is glazed but unglazed gives the porcelain a matte finish that enhances the delicate ridges and allows the three-dimensional patterns to stand out more prominently, in this dial the pattern is a textured rhombus, which historically has been considered an auspicious motif symbolising prosperity and good health. The dial of the watch features yellow gold toned hands and markers, all protected by sapphire crystal glass. The 40.6mm case of the watch is stainless-steel and features an exhibition case back with the limited edition number of 1200 worldwide. The look of the watch is finished off with a black leather band sourced from LWG-certified tanneries.
